Iranian Alliances Across Borders (IAAB) is excited
to announce the fourth installment of
Camp Ayandeh, IAAB’s Iranian-American youth
leadership camp for high school students. This summer,
Camp Ayandeh will be held at Duquette Academy in Western
Massachusetts, June 28-July 5, 2009.
Staying
true to its mission of empowering young Iranians and
ultimately promoting Iranian culture,
Camp Ayandeh was initiated to
provide leadership opportunities to Iranian-American
youth. Since then Camp Ayandeh, a summer camp of
cultural and personal growth,
has become an experience that is continuously
deemed “the highlight of the summer” for students
involved. The camp strives to engage campers by
exploring the concepts of Iranian-American culture and
identity, as well as their growth as our community’s
future leaders.
Camp
Ayandeh is open to rising high school sophomores to
graduating high school seniors and students are
encouraged to enroll quickly as Camp Ayandeh is offered
on a first come, first serve basis. Campers can enroll
online until June 7, 2009.
